3 Ways to Join This Week’s Luke Study (In Person + Zoom)
Looking for a simple way to reconnect with Scripture this week? Want to read about Jesus with others who ask real questions and care about everyday faith?
What We’re Exploring
We’re reading Luke: Jesus and the Outsiders, Outcasts, and Outlaws by Adam Hamilton. Luke shows Jesus dining with sinners, lifting up those on the margins, and offering good news to people who most need to hear it. Expect a grounded conversation that highlights Jesus’ wide welcome and invites us to reflect that same welcome in our community, trusting God’s grace at work among us.
When and Where This Week
- Tuesday, Jan. 20, 7–8 p.m. (online via Zoom) — Email shaw@washmorefeet.org for the link.
- Wednesday, Jan. 21, noon (in person) — Prayer Bites in the Narthex.
- Sunday, Jan. 25, 9–9:45 a.m. (in person) — Room 207.
Come to any session that fits your schedule. You don’t need to attend in order.
Do I Need the Book?
No. Books are available on request, but they are not required. If you’d like a copy, email shaw@washmorefeet.org.
What to Expect
- Come as you are — bring a Bible if you have one, or borrow one when you arrive.
- Conversation over lecture — honest questions are welcome.
- Prayerful pace — we’ll seek God’s guidance as we read and talk together.
Why Luke, and Why Now?
Luke highlights people others overlook and shows how Jesus keeps drawing the circle wider. As we read, we’ll consider how God is nudging us to do the same — at home, at church, and in our neighborhood.
Ready to Jump In?
Pick a time that works and show up. If you can only make one session this week, join us Tuesday online or Wednesday at noon; if Sundays fit better, we’ll be in Room 207 at 9 a.m. Email shaw@washmorefeet.org with questions or to request the Zoom link or a book. We’ll keep a chair open for you.
