Why This Matters Now

Recent incidents have hit close to home, including a lockdown at Wootton High School after a student was shot, and the discharge of a loaded gun brought to an elementary school in Glen Burnie. These moments remind us that prevention and wise policy are urgent. As followers of Jesus, we can mentor young people, model nonviolent conflict resolution and support laws that make access to weapons more difficult—faith in action for the common good.

How to Prepare

  • Register in advance using the link above so organizers can plan for materials and meetings.
