What to Expect
Teams will follow a trail of clues around BUMC, uncovering hidden items and completing quick challenges. It’s beginner-friendly, laughter-heavy, and designed so first-timers and seasoned sleuths have a great time together.
Who Can Join
- UMYF youth, plus friends and family—everyone is welcome.
- Form a team on arrival or team up with your crew. Mixed-age teams work well.
What to Bring
- Comfortable shoes for walking.
- Water bottle you can carry easily.
- Weather-ready layers in case part of the hunt is outside.
How the Hunt Works
- Pick up your first clue at check-in and listen for quick instructions.
- Follow the route, solve each step, and keep your answer sheet safe.
- Return to the starting point by 6:30 p.m. so scores can be counted.
Safety and Accessibility
- Activities take place on the BUMC campus with clearly marked boundaries.
- UMYF leaders coordinate the event and are available for assistance.
- If you need an accommodation, let a leader know at check-in so the route can be adjusted.

Parents, caregivers, and siblings are encouraged to join in or cheer from the sidelines. The more teams, the better the chase.
