Event Details
- Date and time: Wednesday, Sept. 17, 7:30 p.m.
- Purpose: Choose seven books for the 2025–26 reading year.
- Format: Quick book pitches followed by a group vote.
- Meeting rhythm: We typically meet about once a month, usually on the third Wednesday, with scheduling coordinated around the church calendar and partner groups.
What to Bring
- The title and author of your recommendation.
- A 1–2 sentence pitch on why it’s worth our time.
- Helpful extras: genre, length, and what will spark a strong discussion.
How the Night Works
- Participants share brief presentations on their suggested books.
- We compile the list and discuss balance (genre, themes, length).
- The group votes to select the seven books for the year.
