Help Stock McKenna’s Wagon: Sandwich and Trail Mix Drop-Off This Monday

Got 10 minutes before work on Monday? Swing by the church parking lot and help us fill McKenna’s Wagon with ready-to-serve lunches for neighbors across the District. Your simple donation makes an immediate difference the very same evening.

When and where

Monday, March 2, 2026
8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Location: Church parking lot

What to bring

  • Meat and cheese sandwiches (no condiments needed)
  • Baggies of nut-free trail mix (please avoid all nuts)

Can’t make Monday? Drop off on Sunday

If Monday is inconvenient, leave donations in the church refrigerator on Sunday, March 1. Clearly label your bag or box with your name and the number of items inside.

Where your donations go

All items will go to Martha’s Table and be distributed by McKenna’s Wagon at several locations in the District on Monday evening.

Also collecting for the Little Free Pantry

We’re gathering nonperishable foods at the same time. Pantry items can also be left in the church narthex any time the church is open.

Quick checklist

  • Sandwiches: meat and cheese
  • Trail mix: nut-free, portioned in baggies
  • Label Sunday drop-offs with your name and item count

It’s been a cold, snowy winter, and the need is real. Thanks for showing up with something as down-to-earth as a sandwich—because tonight, it lands in someone’s hands, not a warehouse.
