Navin Davoodi Violin Benefit Concert

This concert is part of confirmation service project at BUMC by Navin Davoodi (14). It serves as a fundraiser for the World Food Program which is working to address the hunger pandemic that has arisen because of COVID-19. By the end of 2020 more than a quarter of a billion people will be suffering from acute hunger.  Though Navin had originally planned to support wildlife conservation through his concert he decided to change the focus of his fundraising as the pandemic spread. Navin is an accomplished violinist who performs with the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra and is the concert master if his school orchestra. He is grateful to everyone who has supported his project, especially Chris Warrington for accompanying him and his mentor Bill Allman for his encouragement.
