Today: BUMC Thanks and Giving Potluck — Turkey’s on Us, You Bring the Sides

Got a favorite stuffing, pie, or salad that always disappears first? Bring it to share as we gather for BUMC’s annual Thanks and Giving Potluck today.

When and where

Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, at BUMC. The church provides the turkey. Please bring a dish that serves eight or more.

What to bring

  • A favorite main, side, salad, or dessert that feeds 8+
  • A serving utensil, if needed
  • Optional: a small label noting common allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten)

Dress for fun

We’re encouraging festive Thanksgiving attire—think turkey shirts, fall colors, or leaf-themed accessories. Keep it cozy and comfortable.

Pitch in to help

Volunteers make the meal go smoothly. If you can help with setup or cleanup, sign up here: SignUpGenius: Thanks and Giving Potluck.

Quick tips for your dish

  • Bring it ready to serve; oven space may be limited.
  • Disposable or clearly labeled containers make for easy cleanup.
  • Plan for easy portioning so the line keeps moving.

A table with room for all

If cooking isn’t possible, come anyway—there will be plenty to share. No RSVP needed. Walk in with a dish or simply with an appetite, meet someone new, and pull up a chair.
